InterConnect's TRMC CoursesAbout TRMCInterConnect has historically provided extensive levels of training related support to regulatory authorities and operators during the delivery of its major consulting assignments. We are therefore well-versed in providing specific training, workshops, industry seminars and tailored study tours to support the introduction of regulatory objectives and assist with the transfer of key skills to local personnel.InterConnect has combined its extensive regulatory consulting experience with its training expertise to create the TRMC Master Classes. What is TRMC?TRMC is a series of Master Classes addressing the training requirements of professionals in the communications sector in general. The aim of the courses is to inform delegates on the key areas of regulation in the sector, advise on best-practice and share with delegates InterConnect's experience in these areas which has been built up over the last 25 years.Since the first Regulatory Master Class in 2000, the range of courses on offer has broadened to include Numbering, Spectrum, Interconnection and Next Generation Networks. We now run 10 courses per year. Who Should Attend? The TRMC classes are primarily of interest to organisations responsible for the provision and regulation of communications services. They are however of benefit to all professionals working in the communications sector.Delegates attending the courses range from Board level to new employees with the majority at a middle / senior manager level. International Perspective The TRMC courses are truly international in flavour and this cultural and regulatory diversity has been hailed by delegates as a key factor in the success and popularity of the courses and contributes significantly to the quality of debate during the courses. By the end of 2007, the classes had attracted over 1150 delegates from over 100 countries worldwide. Social Events To balance the hard work during the day, the course schedules include social events in the evening, in addition to a bus tour of Bath, allowing delegates to quickly get to know each other. On Monday evening, there is an informal drinks reception to welcome delegates to the class. On Tuesday evening, there is a traditional pub supper and skittles session (similar to ten-pin bowling) which is very popular with delegates. On Thursday evening, there is an informal class dinner for all delegates and course presenters. Hopefully, this will have given you a good understanding about what TRMC is all about. If you would like to know more, however, please don't hesitate to contact us. |
