About TRMC
John Watkinson
Memorial Scholarship

John Watkinson was a Director of InterConnect Communications for 18 years until his death from cancer in September 2004.

John developed the tremendously successful Regulatory Master Class in 2000 and in the last months before his death, he put in place the main programme for the Numbering Master Class which has also been very successful and has become a permanent fixture on the TRMC calendar.

John believed passionately in creating opportunities to help people to develop, particularly the young. The purpose of this scholarship is to give somebody just such an opportunity.
